Videogame product shortages will boost holiday console-ation prizes

Product shortages surrounding a hot new tech product are nothing new, routine even when that item is a game console. And so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise that those with their heart set on picking up the latest generation from Sony or Microsoft would be business as usual… except that those consoles launched last year and that their shortages could extend to 2023.

About half of those intending to purchase a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S have had already had difficulty in trying to buy one.
